my formal leadership role on the CCDA Board. As president-elect I am honored
to work with professionals in our field who are committed to the growth
and progress of career development. Over the past years I have had the pleasure
to know and work with several past presidents of our organization who have
created a phenomenal historical legacy for us, and I hope to add to that
legacy. I believe in the value of CCDA as a professional organization and
will continue to work to bring value-added benefits to our members.
I will continue to support our CCDA mission by serving as an effective voice
for career development in California, and working with other career professionals
to help make licensure a reality. My passion, enthusiasm, and commitment
to career issues across the lifespan are steadfast and I promise to provide
leadership and a collaborative atmosphere that honors all of our unique
gifts and talents. My pledge to you is to continue to have an eye toward
