  • CCDA collaborates with Human Resources professionals
    April 5 was a successful career management workshop for Sacramento local HR professionals. This was the first time SAHRA (Sacramento Area Human Resources Association) provided career services for HR professionals who have been laid off or are in career transition. More

  • CACD Name Change
    Following the CACD Governing Board approval, in June 2006, ratification of a name change from the California Association for Counseling and Development (CACD) to the California Counseling Association (CCA) was completed at the 2007 Statewide Convention in February. This name change has been part of the CACD strategic plan for several years and will bring California in line with the other ACA State Branches with a name that follows the ACA format. More
